Growing up in an art studio surrounded by my father's paintings and sculptures was a truly special experience. My father was a pioneer in the Arab art world, and his guidance and influence shaped my approach to both my art and my life.
I have always been drawn to sculpture, and I find the medium to be incredibly rewarding. Working with stubborn materials can be challenging, but the satisfaction of overcoming those challenges is unparalleled. I have experimented with a wide range of materials, including metals, glass, bronze, clay, granite, and marble. Each material has its own unique properties and challenges, and I find the exploration of these materials to be endlessly fascinating.
My sculptures often reflect my thoughts and experiences with contemporary society, and I use them as a way to comment on the human condition. As technology continues to advance at an ever-increasing pace, I believe that it is more important than ever for people to engage with the world around them using their hands, hearts, and minds. This connection to the tangible world and the things we create with our own hands has the power to enrich all aspects of life on Earth.
